“Odd start but worthwhile”
Reviewed October 15, 2013

We took the 35 minute tour today. We consider it an odd start because we had a coupon from our hotel for a free 35 minute ride but we really wanted to do the 55 minute ride so we asked if we could use the coupon and just pay the difference and we were told we couldn't because our hotel would want to track what their guests were doing. It wasn't outer hotel that said this, it was the girl at AAA Buggy rides. It didn't make sense to use because AAAB ugly Rides would have made more money but...whatever.

We did go on the 35 minute ride, Henry was our driver and he was amazing. he answered all our questions and gave us so much information.

We highly recommend AAA Buggy Rides.

Our Amish Buggy guide was Henry. We was very knowable and willing to answer any questions that we had. We were with our 2yr old and 7mth old and we kept them entertained.

“Well worth doing very informative”
Reviewed September 6, 2013

My wife and I did the 55 minute trip yesterday. Our driver was Amish and very open to answering all the questions thrown at him which helped to put into perspective the reality of some of the reality tv shows. Definately recommend. Great way to see the simpler life.

“Awesome Buggy Ride”
Reviewed August 18, 2013

I went in expecting a complete tourist trap and non authentic experience with people just taking advantage of the Amish culture around them. It was great to see that it was the opposite.
We had a young Amish woman named Rachel as our driver. She was very enthusiastic and excited to share about her culture while driving us on the 60 minute tour.
She had a great attitude and clearly loved her job and genuinely loved children. Young children got to sit up front and "drive" and we got to stop at an Amish farm. We saw young calves, farm dogs, and got the opportunity to purchase some Amish items from the owner of the property.
We then re-boarded and went to the "Amish McDonalds". A road side stand where another young Amish woman offered homemade root beer, lemonade, whoopie pies, and other treats.
The time went by so quickly we didnt even realize that we had been gone for an hour, thats how much we enjoyed ourselves.
Would definitely recommend this tour (the 60 minute tour) and hopefully you get Rachel!

“AMAZING buggy ride!”
Reviewed July 31, 2013

We had the pleasure of doing the 60 minute buggy ride. I wish I could remember the name of our driver....it was an Amish woman whose name stars with an "E" (Ellie maybe??). She was really really great and informative and the buggy ride was perfect. We loved going under the covered bridge. We also loved the Amish "drive through" where we stopped to pick up some whoopie pies and homemade root beer and lemonade.

I highly recommend this buggy ride to anyone and the location in Kitchen Kettle is so convenient!
