I went into a cena just before christmas with my family (three kids ~9, 7 and 6 months). We had a really great lunch. We arrived a little late for lunch on the spur of the moment but the staff couldnt have been more attentive and pleasant. So i am confused by the surly comments others have made. Many restaurants look at you like you are lepers if you arrive with children and they are not a branded family haven but we found a cena to be very welcoming. Unlike max mara across the bridge who really almost chased us out of the shop. The food was first class : my kids had half portions of main menu dishes and loved them. I had plaice in a creamy sauce that sounds dull but was in fact delicious. My wife who is french and can teach most people a thing or two about surly also had a really fantastic lamb main course. The chef came out to see how people were doing and that was a nice touch. We will be back. Unlike to max mara's emporium.
