“A Curry With A Difference”
Reviewed January 24, 2011

Staying in the area and went to the Annapurna based on Trip Advisors reommendations. Good food and being Nepalese different to the usual curries in Indian restaurants. If you like hot spicy dishes recommend the Chilli Chicken starter. Staff very friendly too.

“A REAL TREAT”
Reviewed January 16, 2011

As a world wide traveller (cabin crew), I confirm that the Annapurna is a real treat.
A warm welcome, nice ambience and delicious food with (if you want it) a REAL spicy kick. The manager, Raj, is a lovely chap and he and the staff clearly have a passion for food, I love evenings spent at the Annapurna.

“Regular of mine”
Reviewed January 10, 2011

I live around the corner from this restaurant and visit it on a regular basis. I have probably been 20+ times in the past 2 years and can honestly say that I have NEVER had a problem.

The food: Can't fault the food, It is always hot and on time. The staff are always willing to help out with making a dish personal if you like it a certain way.

The staff: The staff are second to none. Never ever ever have I received any form of attitude from the staff at Annapurna. Nothing is too much trouble. The manager seems to be in the restaurant a lot to oversee that everything is running smoothly. As well as this, he has come to know myself and my family and now always pops over to say hi! This isn't just a touch for us though, the manager is generally always happy and talkative with his customers before and after the meal.

The atmosphere: Being right next to Twickenham Stadium, Annapurna is a real buzz on match nights. If you are planning to go on a match night it is worth booking a table in advance. Its not cheesy and loud, just a warm buzzing atmosphere. Nothing like a beer and curry after a rugby match eh!

Overall: This isn't meant to be a michelin star restaurant with small portions and big prices. Its a great local place to go with your family or some friends after a match if you want to sit comfortably and KNOW that the food you will be served will never be a let down - and at a very reasonable price!

“Every meal is a delight”
Reviewed December 15, 2010

The first time my partner and I tried Annapurna we felt a little apprehensive as it is located among some less than average shops. However, we were so glad that we went in, the food is excellent always of a very high standard and the service charming. We have returned many times.

Nepalese curries are quite different, subtle and imaginative so that even a dish that you might feel to be a 'standard' you will find to be a new experience at this restaurant. Lots of great dishes and the best lemon rice.
