Ok. Here for match day. Drinks are dear £8 for g&t, £4.80 beer. Food really average. Car park miles away and £35. Marriott usually 5* value for me. 3.5* today.

Convenient for rugby if nothing else. Honestly, don't pay more than £100 per room or you will be gutted.

The hotel is new and feels fresh with spacious rooms and very comfortable beds... Each room has tea and coffee but a bottle of water would have been very welcome. There is 24 hours of free Internet in the public areas but when it comes to in room Internet it's paid for and cost me £15 for the same 24 hours.. Ok so you can connect 6 devices but that's steep.

The provider is Ibahn and they have a very poor selection of roaming partners so beware!

Breakfast was buffet style and was good but I hated the constant interruption by staff to collect dishes and used cutlery....too intense !

Stayed for one night with my husband and two children, as the hotel is around 30 minutes from Legoland. Stayed in a room on the sixth floor, overlooking the rugby stadium, which was lovely. The suite had two rooms and 1 1/2 bathrooms, great if travelling with children. The service in the first floor lounge area was extremely slow, took 10 minutes to receive four drinks (and we were the only people there). After heading out for dinner, we returned for coffee and hot chocolate, which was diabolical, however, after making a complaint, this was rectified. We decided to take deserts in our room, but were telephoned by a staff member to ask us to open the secure 6th floor door, as there security card didn't work! Breakfast was fantastic and the children loved the waffle station. Beds comfortable and rooms clean. Disappointed that there was a charge for wifi, as this is normally complimentary in 4* hotels. Parking approximately a 5 minute walk away, which was not a problem as it wasn't raining, and there was a drop off point at the front of the hotel. Virgin fitness centre next door, which you can use, and there was children's swim times, however, this was around mid afternoon, and no good for us, as we didn't arrive until 3pm.

Stayed here over the long bank holiday weekend, hotel is very nice and clean and well presented. Rooms are very spacious and well dressed. I was very unhappy with the parking as the Marriott hotels parking was at least 5mins walk away,. I was also unhappy with the charge of having wifi in the rooms, a hotel like the Marriott I feel should be providing this free of charge. Service was average when I arrived at the hotel check in, don't know if this was due to lack of staff etc. Overall a nice hotel, however could be better and compete with rest of the Marriott brand out there.

We were a party of 19 looking for a base from where we could roam London. Our room rate was reasonable at £84 excl breakfast and was particularly economical when some families were usin the additional spare bed.

One family were trapped on the Stansted Express and arrived eventually past midnight. There was no problem with the booking. In fact they were given a suite as a free upgrade to help them recover from the trials of their journey.

We only used the rooms and bar in the evening on this trip but everyone had a very comfortable stay and said they would choose to come back here for another such trip.

Twickenham mainline station is only 10 minutes wall or so and the faster trains get to central London in just over 20 minutes. Plenty of good restaurants in Twickenham and Richmond so everything we needed was on hand.

A Fantastic hotel, with comfort and style.
Just spent 2 nights here with my partner visiting family, I have to say it was a lovely experience.
From the moment we checked in till the time we left. Staff all very helpful, polite and attentive to your needs.
The room was very large as was the queen size bed, which made for a pleasant, undisturbed sleep.Everything you need in the room to ensure you have a comfortable stay and if it's not then you only have to ask.
Iron and ironing board descreetly tucked away and a hidden mini fridge, even down to an ice bucket which the bar will willing fill for you.
Great walk in power shower, which easily fits 2 if you have someone to scrub your back!!
This hotel helped turn a weekend away visiting family into an even more special trip away, plus being attached to Twickenham Stadium gets a BIG thumbs up from me being a huge rugby fan!!
Would recommend staying here if you want a relaxing, enjoyable stay!!

Room Tip: South facing rooms have great views

I see no reason not to allocate 5 stars - and you can tell I mean it, because this hotel is a short walk away from my home, yet I've stayed there twice! Once, for a birthday treat (I love their bar downstairs, and it was great to just have to go upstairs to bed afterwards), and once when we needed to stay away from home while the electrics were being redone. Both times I absolutely loved the experience - the rooms are clean, big and the beds super comfy. Nice showers and amenities; coffee facilities in the room which you don't get much these days anymore.

Hmmm... just thought of a reason to deduct a star... for having a bar on the ground floor with big windows, which proved to be far to tempting far too many times when leaving the gym next door... can I deduct 1 star for bad influence? :-)
