What a beautiful place, an excellent start to our holiday. We arrived late but greeted and helped to unpack the car and shown to our amazing room. We had the family room upstairs, complete with mezzanine. It's delightful.

Extremely comfortable beds, really luxurious bedding and so clean. This place had everything we needed. We were driven to the airport early on the mornings of our departure, after a lovely breakfast. It's a very short journey, in a comfortable and large vehicle. Pick up after the holiday went very smooth also.

We will most definitely use Heathrow Cottages again. Highly recommended.

The trouble is, it's great, but the more people who know about it..
I can't recommend this B&B highly enough. The location must be superb for Heathrow. I stayed for a nearby wedding in Surrey but couldn't justify the £300 cost of staying at the venue. This, however, proved to be the best solution all round, since it was clearly better value for money and a friendlier option.

The room was nice, bright and clean with a comfy bed. Free wifi (code in the in room booklet), parking at the back. The ensuite bathroom had a multi jet walk in shower and was very modern and spacious (or incredibly well designed), nice mini toiletries, fluffy towels (not the scratchy hotel kind).
All the essentials were there: cupboard, desk, LCD tv, plug sockets, hair dryer.
I opted for the continental breakfast instead of cooked and when I appeared for breakfast, a little table all set out with more cereal and jam than most hotels bother with.

A lovely stay, I think this would be a lovely place to start or finish a trip from Heathrow. I didn't really notice too much noise from the airport. The owners were both really kind & I appreciated having a chat before I went. I hope they get away on a holiday of their own one of these days.

we used this as an alternative to the "big" hotels for our night before our flight. cant say any more than brilliant! from our greeting when we arrived late evening to a super breakfast and easy drive to the airport in a very comfortable vehicle. pick up on return was very prompt and would highly recomend and if we fly from heathrow again iwe will be back.

Very comfortable and convenient. My wife liked the shower in our room so much she's asked me if we could build one like it in our house! The room we had last year the bathroom wasn't adjacent so we liked this upstairs room although the room we had last year was a lot bigger downstairs. The proprietors are very accommodating even helping us figure out the bus routes and giving us a ride to the bus station so we could visit Hampton Court Palace. Breakfast was great. Enjoyed meeting and talking to some other guests. The White Horse pub picks up guests and takes them to the pub and back and there was another pub, The Rising Sun within easy walking distance. We liked them both.

They're working on the front garden so it was not finished when we were there. The back deck has been removed and they are planning a dining room addition but apparently permits and village planning has slowed that process down. No matter. We thoroughly enjoyed staying here even if some outdoor work is still incomplete. That didn't prevent the beds from being comfortable, breakfast from being good or prevent us from going exploring.

Our stay at the Heathrow Cottages started with a very random phone call, where the gentleman was quite abrupt one minute then very accomodating the next. This seemed to continue during the stay, and despite the cottage being quite picturesque (minus the building works going on) we never felt 100% at ease or relaxed.
We stayed in a room which had a lounge area and a very smart bathroom, the refurbishment seemed to a very good quality and first impressions were good. However there was LOTS of clutter and we felt a bit like we were sleeping in the spare room. Some might really like this homely approch and I d image for some this would be perfect, it just wasnt really to our taste.
We did have a slight disaster which spoilt our stay, i was seriously allergic to the feather sofas, chairs, cushions, bedding. I could barely breathe and was awake all night, slightly panicing. I didnt fell comfortable enough to speak to the owner about this, but it might be something to consider. I went to Heathrow puffy, wheezy and miserable.
The breakfast was lovely, and the owners got up early to provide the lovely full english and my other half was very grateful.
The journey to the airport was swift and we were given instructions of what to do on our return.
On return I called the owner in the backage hall, only to be told to ring back when we had the cases, we then had a short wait for the owner to return.
Our car keys were given back to us in the van, which is large and comfortable.
Our car had been moved into another parking space but was in perfect condition.
This might be a good option to consider if you want private transfers, and alternative parking provsion than the huge airport car parks.

We had a wonderful stay at Heathrow Cottages. Our room was very comfortable and very clean. There were many thoughtful touches in the room such as hot tea and biscuits and bottled water. The bathroom was luxurious, with a fantastic shower head and water pressure. Alan was a wonderful help.and very available for questions, suggestions and rides. The breakfasts were great. Overall, it was an amazing stay and we hope to return again soon!

The garden on the web site pictures is not there & wil not be for a long while by the look of things.
The room we had was very nice & yes it was noisey from air traffic but that stopped later in the evening. The full English breakfast was very good & we made it to the airport at the right time. Thats the good part.
The bad part. After a rude phone talk with the lady of the house over the pick up time we got back to the B&B & were shocked at the state of our car. It had been valeted the day we arrived so expected it to look fairly good even after all the rain, but it had been parked under trees. We got the keys & just wanted to get home as we were both suffering jet lag, what we really should have done was check the car over before we left, it had be washed but looked like it was done with a stiff yard broom & when I opened the door the drivers seat was covered in MUD. At home I looked over it to find the drivers side back wing had been scuffed & the back valance had been scratched. I have now had the car & the seat steam valeted TWICE & still cannot get all the marks out. As I didn't check it there with them I can't prove anything so will have to foot the bill but if you take pride in your car as we do this is not the place to leave it at all. A very disappointing & unhappy end to a great holiday in the States.
