We stayed here for one night (Fri-Sat) on a deal booked directly with the Holiday Inn - £91 including dinner - a great price
Everything was fine, there just was no atmosphere to this hotel. Even the pool area was stark, although steam room/sauna were nice - Jacuzzi out of order!!. Oh and dont forget your £1 for the locker in the changing room!
There seemed to be a lack of staff everywhere??
The evening meal however was fantastic and they were huge portions - the staff were great and accomodating. Breakfast too was great with loads of choice.
The room was probably the smallest Holiday Inn room I have ever stayed in and the bathroom had had a makeover.
No newspapers were offered and none in existence in the morning.
probably would not stay here again.More
