Great staff, delicious food, great choice of beverages and tons of atmosphere. Happy to return time and time again (expect London prices).

“Excellent food but drinks were overpriced completely”
Reviewed July 7, 2013

Walked up to meet a friend for a spot of dinner in the evening. Greeted by a waitress who led us in to the dining room. Very nice atmosphere in the dining room. I had a pint of Peroni and my friend had a soft drink. The food was excellent and made you feel completely at home. The constant change in the menu is great as I go once every few weeks. I have one criticism, which is the price of a pint of Peroni. £4.94 is craziness. There are pubs in central London in prime locations that sell pints of Peroni between £4.50-£4.80. That price is unacceptable for Isleworth and I think it should be reviewed.

“Fair quality but absurdly expensive for a pub”
Reviewed June 18, 2013

This review should be "average", since the food was acceptable. Comparing it to pub food, it can even be regarded as "good".

All the elements are there: pleasant service, good atmosphere, home cooked food (this does not equate to "good", the beanburger was distinctly dry and stodgy), but it fails on one point - cost.

At around £12 for a bean burger versus £6.95 for a far superior veggie in GBK, and versus £14 for the best veggie you can get (Hard Rock), the prices are absurd.

I'm not averse to paying top money for a good burger (I do it often at Hard Rock), but there was no sense of value here. For £12 I would expect a burger Royale, and felt we had received burger Ordinaire. Burger King's beanburger is better.

Consequently, this pub lunch - a couple of beers, and two white wines and a few main courses (no starters, no desserts, no coffees) was an astonishing £70. This is a PUB! I would easily have dined at a restaurant: Carluccio's + a bottle of wine is cheaper, lunch offers at Michelin-starred places are do-able at this price, including wine!

This place deserves to do well, except the value is terrible.

“Lovely Pub and Great Sunday Roast!”
Reviewed June 16, 2013 via mobile

We went to the Coach & Horses after seeing it mentioned on TripAdvisor and wasn't disappointed. We were staying at the nearby Hilton and the pub is a short walk away. The staff were friendly and helpful, a good choice of beer and wine. We went on a Sunday so had to have a roast but there were alternatives. My roast beef was excellent but my wife's Roast Chicken was fantastic! It just fell of the bone and tasted fantastic (I had to try some!). The only slight downside, it was too hot inside so afterwards we sat outside in their lovely beer garden!! Overall, a great pub and great food.
