My girlfriend and I overnight end here on our way to separate places the next morning. It was fine, although signage from Terminal 5 could be better. Room was clean. We asked for a little more space than the usual twin room. We got it for £75 extra, but one bed was a pull-out which was a bit annoying. Hit my knee on the protruding metal and got a good bruise.
The real challenge was the lights. There were buttons by the bed, by the second bed (usually a sofa) and by the main door. They all seemed to be disconnected from one another. It was late and we just needed sleep, so after trying to make sense of the lights, I put a flashlight on a round table where we could both reach it if we had to get up at night. Kudos for a very dark room at night I suppose. But what happened to a simple bedside lamp?
Memo to file: Rolling luggage doesn't work well on carpets - entering hotel from the T5 hallway was somewhat slow. Not practical.More
