We've stayed here several times and it's always been fine with no problems. It's a basic room but what more do you need for a one or two night stay? Very convenient to station (1 minute walk) and usually found at a good price too. There is some noise from aeroplanes in the morning but not really a problem if you close the window. Would recommend this hotel.

Very convenient location. Compared to some other Travellodges this one excels!!!
Polite service. Clean and well maintained rooms .....This is not the Hilton....neither are the room rates!!!
Security very good. Very near Tube Station,

Good quality hotel, exactly what you'd expect. I like that the hotel is far enough from central London to be that bit cheaper but it's also on an easy tube route, very close to the station and the area has plenty of shops and facilities.

All round brilliant, but needs some kind of air con in the room, just too hot, but the staff and cleaners were very welcoming, the food was very nice and good for the price. It’s great that the hotel was near the station

we stayed at this hotel while we were visiting relatives in southall however we made a big mistake. We encountered one staff member called muhammad. He was the most unhelpful and overall a very rude gentleman. we asked him a few things about hounslow in general like where the best indian restaurant is, where we could go to have breakfast and where the nearest convenience store is and he was not interested to help us at all, he basically huffed and gave long drawn out answers to the questions we asked, you could obviously see from his answers that he just wanted us to go away asap so that he could continue sitting doing nothing. we asked a few other reception members for things while we were there and they were very helpful to us, however that gentleman was just pure rude and it was so obvious he didnt like his job or even want to work for travelodge. we have stayed in travelodges all over england and most of the reception staff we have encountered have been smiley, helpful and very nice people however this person was not. we also asked him a couple of things about our room which he couldnt answer either, we had a question about the shower and basically he said "just try whichever way it works" and when we asked about what time breakfast is the most busy he shrugged and said "most times is busy, you will just have to see for yourself". my wife is a diabetic and when we asked if specific things could be adapted for her he again said "well ask the breakfast staff, i dont know". our whole 2-3 times we encountered him he was so rude to us and very unhelpful, it got to the xstage that when we saw on the reception we didnt even bother going to ask everything. i feel very let down that travelodge would employ an employee like him to work for there brand and i dont think i will ever book this particular travelodge again in the future. i dont ever use tripadvisor as i feel its unfair for businesses to get critised when sometimes there having an off day but i particularly set up a tripadvisor account to leave a review on our experince with this gentleman as i feel he needs proper training and certainly taught better customer service.
