“Good for night before flying”
Reviewed October 19, 2011

We travelled down from Yorkshire - found the hotel easily - waited a few minutes to check in but we had arrived at the same time as several others - the staff on reception were very pleasant & helpful and did their best to settle us in. Rooms were basic but adequate - as were the bathrooms. Yes - you do hear a bit of noise but luckily No plane noise considering it is so close to the airport. We had a meal in the restaurent & although it was quite busy we were served quickly - food was fine & reasonably priced. Our package included parking ( APH next door to hotel) & we parked easily and were whisked away to our flight immediately. Pick up was also pretty quick. In all - no grumbles at all.

Stayed here one night before departing Heathrow to the US. This hotel is the rough equivalent of Motel 6 or Super 8 in the United States. Only 2 stories, but lots of rooms located around a center, indoor courtyard/lobby. Automated check-in machines in the lobby were quick and easy, but made the experience completely impersonal.

Our room looked out over the lobby area/restaurant, but the window was quite thick so there was no noise. Only noise was from neighboring room doors and people walking up and down the hallway. Room was generally clean, although there were lots of markings along the walls. Queen sized beds were the largest we'd had on our 2 1/2 week trip to Europe. Air conditioner was noisy, but didn't present any problems with sleeping. Bathroom was small and bare-bones, but functional. Restaurant was decent for dinner, although nothing special. The margherita pizza was nothing but a cheese pizza. Breakfast, at 7.99, left a lot to be desired. The dried fruit in the buffet had small flies sitting on it, which turned me off most items that weren't packaged or in containers. One of the cereal dispensers didn't work. Pomegranate juice was like watered-down Kool-Aid and the OJ was not much better. Only spoons available for eating yogurt appeared to be the small teaspoons by the coffee machine.

Still, decent for a quick overnight stay near the airport. Heathrow Hoppa took 30 minutes from Terminal 5, but only 10 minutes to get to Terminal 3. Good location and decently clean. About what you'd expect from a budget hotel, but they need to fix up that breakfast buffet.

This is our 3rd time staying at this hotel prior to a USA trip from Heathrow. Location is excellent and quiet even though so close to Heathrow.

Staff friendly and efficient and rooms very clean and comfortable. Good nights sleep considering this hotel is on the go all day & night!

On site restaurant very good, food yummy!!

Very high class Premier Inn as we stay in quite a few around the country.

Would highly recommend and will always stay here prior to a trip from heathrow.

Nice quiet room with plenty of food/bar options downstairs in the lobby. Staff were very keen to help and pleasant with it.

Room Tip: We had a corner room on the East side and it was very quiet

Room were clean, staff more than helpful. We were able to find the red free bus zone #53 from the airport. It took us to within walking distance of the hotel. I would stay there again and definately recomment it to others.

From time to time I've stayed at various airport hotels and experienced the dubious delights of indifferent staff, shabby rooms, expensive prices and uninteresting food. Now I have found a hotel that is pain-free and will be my choice in future.

Checking in on the automated terminals was easy even after driving for hours to get there and, had I hit problems there were staff present to help. My room was on the first floor, was clean, spacious and had large comfortable king sized double bed. There was fully adjustable heating/air conditioning and an easy to use TV with plenty of free to view channels.

I don't tend to eat evening meals or drink, so it was a pleasure to find there was a Costa coffee shop open and serving beverages & snacks as an alternative to the usual restaurant/bar option.

In the morning the restaurant was open early for breakfast and all the staff from the waiters/waitresses to the Chef couldn't be more pleasant or helpfull if they tried. The food itself was fresh & plentiful and the coffee was excellent. A great way to start a day - breakfast should be a pleasure - not a pain and many grander and more expensive hotels have failed with their breakfast service.

So, room at short notice - £79, Breakfast - £7.99, Car Park -£10 and cheerful staff that really help when asked. Staying anywhere else could be an expensive mistake.

We stayed here on a 18 hour layover at LHR it was a good experience. We ate dinner here, to food was good value for money. My only complaint was the bar pretty much had just lager, it would have been nice to have a "Real Ale", even a "un-real ale" would have been good. Transportation to the Terminals was simple with the Hoppa coaches.
