For the price you pay you can't really get much better than this, I paid £49 a night and for a hotel so 'close' to London you really can't complain.

I say this place was odd as I have never had a hotel room where the shower was part of the room and the toilet was in its own little room. It was odd, but it worked, the only issue was that the toilet room had a constant damp smell.

All else was fine with the hotel though, location was decent enough (as decent as can be in Hounslow) and was close to the tube. The room had some funky lighting, a decent enough TV with Freeview, bed was comfortable and staff were friendly. Also a bonus was the air conditioning which I gather the new Travelodge down the road doesn't have.

Would I stay again? At this price, of course!

This is a basic hotel but has everything you need. It has been recently decorated which has added some character to the hotel. Car parking is cheap at £3, but be aware each time you leave the hotel they charge £3. The location is brilliant, you are on the high street in seconds. Hounslow central tube station is a few mins walk away. Tesco express is on your doorstep.

Be careful when using the shower, sometimes the water can escape from under the foor. also something to note the shower is in the bedroom and not in a seperate ensuite. And ask for extra pillows if you feel you need them. Check in is very easy, sometimes there is a queue but the staff are very helpful.

If you are a light sleep ask them to put you in a room by the car park, sometimes at night if you are facing the main road it can be noisy. Also yes you do hear the planes landing and arriving at heathrow but its nothing to worry about. The price is great. TV is brilliant, with freeview.

The room does not have a hairdryer or shower gel. The rooms are small but this didn't matter to us. The windows only open a little, but if you ask at reception im sure they can help you open it fully.

We have not had breakfast so we cannot comment.

Room Tip: If light sleeper ask for a room facing car park. be aware that you have to pay £3 each time you leav...

We stayed for 2 nights, 3 adults in a triple room. The hotel is walking distance from Hounslow central. The room is very small & feels claustrophobic. We booked a triple room but it was actually a double room and they had managed to fit a bunk bed, very congested!. The shower room is very small and toilet is very small as well. There is no TEA or COFFEE in the room and they charge 2 pounds for tea or coffee pp. Breakfast is separate and charged at 5 pounds pp. Breakfast is average and NO HOT BREAKFAST IS PROVIDED. Only 2 towels were provided for 3 people in triple room. They charge for parking as well.
The area outside the hotel is noisy and dirty.
The only good thing was the air conditioner which was a welcome relief in London summer!
The staff were excellent and very helpful.

I stayed at this hotel for 6 nights and tell you, my experience was very good. I was in London for holiday and my intention was to spend less on lodging and there by can have extra leverage on my sight seeing. I was not at all disappointed in selecting Ibis, Hounslow. Rooms were tiny but enough for two people. Tube & over ground train station were just 5 minutes walking. Bus stop is right opposite to hotel. Tesco super market is just out side the entry gate. One more super market called Quality foods or so is on stone throwing distance. Shopping malls are really great. You will find M & S, Primark etc very near by. Being an Indian, was very pleased to find many Indian restaurant near by. One of them was Shree Krishna Vada Pav on High Street, which serve mouth watering veg food. Would strongly recommend Ibis for your budget with quality stay.
