The warm, friendly welcome from Delphine, the owner, the tantalising array of delicious, beautifully decorated treats that entice you in, the profusion of colours, shapes and flavours of the delicate patisserie, created by Delphine's husband Dominic, the chef/patissier, are the perfect accompaniment to the delicious, aromatic coffee they serve, which is the best in Eastcote High Street, and gives the leading coffee companies a run for their money. All these ingredients make for the perfect place to have coffee with a friend, enjoy some "me-time" with a book or newspaper or take home some of the hand-made chocolates, the delectable macaroons or order a cake for a birthday or function. Particular favourites are the Poire-caramel slice, pear and caramel mousse on a brownie base, which is divine, and the Délice au chocolat, literally meaning "Chocolate Delight", which is accurate in every meaning of the word. Bon appétit et á bientot! ;D

This is a tiny, clean and friendly place to meet for coffee and delicious cakes and croissants. There are only 3 tables but you can purchase things to take away as well. There is also artisan bread for sale but it would be even better if they served soup or sandwiches at lunch time as it was fine for morning break and afternoon tea but had nothing more substantial. The owner was pleasant and friendly although the limited space means that it is probably not that suitable for small children in buggies or larger groups.

I'm a devotee of this little gem in Eastcote High Street, in fact almost an addict...

The croissants are the most authentic i've eaten outside Paris, and the almond ones are extraordinarily good.

But it is the tartes aux framboises i buy most often.. Incredibly fresh tasting, with the perfect balance between good cream, crisp pastry and ripe, scented berries.

Other favourites are a selection of mousse based cakes, each more tempting than the last.

Madame, behind the counter is warm and personable, as she serves you the treats made by her husband.

There are a few tables, and excellent coffee to have with your choice, and {best of all} the shop is open early on Sunday mornings, so it is possible to collect great croissants, & cakes for teatime, whilst picking up your Sunday papers from the newsagents over the road.
