Went to Bridlington yesterday as the weather was good, cold unfortunately when we arrived but a pleasant enough day after the terrible weather of the last few months. Looked for somewhere indoors to eat and spotted Audrey's. The upstairs dining room was pleasant and clean if a little cramped. We ordered Sausage and chips and fish cake, chips and peas. The food took a little while to come but when its cooked to order you don't mind waiting. Bread and Butter was forgotten till we prompted the waitress. The chips were good, peas good but the fishcakes were breaded which to someone from Grimsby is alien. We were expecting them to be battered. Perhaps the menu should state 'breaded' on it? We paid £15.10 for 4 meals so not a bad price. Would go back again and try the fish next time as that is what appears to get the rave reviews.
