We have read the reviews on the Mon-Fort and cant believe some of the comments people have put about the place. Dont know what they are trying to do but they are totally wrong in putting bad comments about the hotel.
We booked to stay at the Mon-Fort Hotel at short notice for a 3 day break by phone after finding it on the Internet, I phoned on the Wednesday morning and we arrived at teatime the same day. Lesley was very helpful and friendly on the phone. We were given a really warm welcom from Lesley when we arrived and got a parking space right outside the hotel, we were given a parking permit (Free) to put in our car for the duration of our stay.
Rooms were very spacious and clean with a sea view.
Breakfast was good home cooked food and plenty of it.
The bar entertainment was excellent with things going off each night while we were there. Wednesday was Rock & Roll night, Thursday was Quiz Night and Friday was Karioke, some good singers amongst the locals. Local people as well as guests goin in the fun and are very friendly, excellent fun.
Excellent locatioon fro the beach which is only a stone throw away. Short walk to the shops and harbour.
Only thing wrong was it is on a corner of a busy road and can be a little noisy but not enough to put us off booking into this hotel again as we love Bridlington and have found a lovely hotel to stay.
