“Good pub food”
Reviewed July 27, 2014

We came for an evening meal. The fish and chips were excellent. As another reviewer said it is in need of a bit of revamp. However service is quick and friendly and the food can be recommended. Well worth a return visit. A mention must be made of the resident parrot who entertained us all!

“Brilliant food”
Reviewed July 18, 2014

Brilliant food and reasonable prices. Cosy, if a little small. Interesting decoration. Drink prices are decent and there's something for everyone. Even the sandwiches were nice and well presented!

“Tired looking, sticky varnish, threading carpets, service was ok, food was just ok.”
Reviewed July 6, 2014 via mobile

We had a carvery which was basic but ok at £7.99. We were hungry and the inn was functional but quite tired and in need of revamp. Would be worth a revamp, nice location. Service was fine.
