“Well worth a visit”

It has something for everyone young & old. Lovely Hall and Gardens. Recreation for all with Golf and lots of grassed areas to amuse the kids. The little Zoo and the Eating places are not to be missed.

“Sewerby gardend”

Beautiful gardens, free at this time of year, there is a small zoo which costs £2.50 entry fee, well worth a visit. There's places to have a coffee and something to eat. Would recommend a visit

“A lovely day”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 1, 2013

We travelled from bridlington on the land train, reasonable entrance fee and if you show your receipt at the clock tower tea rooms it gives you 10% off your purchases? The zoo wasa delight to walk round and there are opportunities to experience feeding the penguins. Relaxed atmosphere, e grounds and gardens are wonderful but you cannot enter the hall currently as it is having a refurb

“Lovely grounds but disappointed with closed hall and entrance fee..........”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed September 28, 2013

Been to Sewerby Hall and Gardens a few times before and always enjoyed the walk/hall etc. Was very disappointed to learn the hall was closed for renovations until July 2014. Absolutely understand the need for it though to keep this lovely building in good condition but didn't expect to pay the full entrance fee of £4.80 per adult. Doesn't sound much for one person but when a few of you go it soon adds up. The Hall is a major part of the day hence the entrance fee and I just feel it should have reflected this in a discounted price. (especially as older patrons were being let in for nothing to use the train that runs from Sewerby Hall to Bridlington town center). We did get one adult in for free after we complained but felt sorry for the man at the entrance copping for all the justified complaints etc. Nice to see the Zoo is being cleaned up and renovated in places too. Always thought it looked run down and felt sorry for the animals but good to see the slight changes. The bee man (in the little craft shop nooks) was missed this time as we always bought items from him (foot creams, honey bee candles etc). Will not visit again until the Hall is finished though.

“Great zoo for little ones”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed September 26, 2013

The Hall was closed for refurbishment on our visit, but our plan was to visit the zoo with our two-year-old daughters. They loved it. It's big enough to provide entertainment for an hour or two without the little ones getting bored or tired.
