A great place to visit, animals, history and a cafe. Easy to get to by public transport. Good value for money. Easy to spend quite a few hours there. Look out for the deer.

Great time with granddaughter joining in with the Halloween event, treasure hunt in the gardens, witches potions, spooky happenings around the hall. Not to mention the gardens and zoo, all set in beautiful grounds overlooking the sea. Well worth a day out.

Sewerby Hall has string memories as a child, with activities such as archery, a cycle road, zoo etc
The zoo is still there with a reasonable mix of animals available to view, although there looks like a need to invest in some maintenance issues.
That aside, there's lots for the whole family to enjoy with Footgolf, a putting green and pitch & putt course for the sports minded, walled gardens for horticulturalists and the hall and museum for historians.
There's a large open playing field for the kids to burn some energy as well as a couple of options for refreshments.
There's plenty of parking on site although you can also catch the land train from Bridlington.
So I'm now taking my grandson to enjoy Sewerby these days, and I'll sure there'll be plenty of more visits from generations to come.

Visited here to take part in the Halloween celebrations and so glad we did. Had a super day. The crafts in the hall were super.
The little zoo is nice.
The cafe is very small and a bit strange.
Not sure i would want to visit if it wasn't Halloween as that added value - quite expensive to get in.
But we had a super Halloween time!

Discovered this on the way to Bridlington. What a great place to walk the dogs and have a very reasonably priced lunch with some good options for all.

A lovely October day in the sunshine at Sewerby Hall. Entry price is great value - it includes entry to the house, gardens and mini zoo. The staff were very friendly. Inside the house, children were given the opportunity to handle old toys, clothes and equipment which was lovely. The house looks over the sea...beautiful view. There is a land train (separate charge) which can take you down to Bridlington. Food in the cafe was good too!

A very interesting place to visit with an interesting history. The Amy Johnson exhibition was excellent and it is nice to know she is still remembered. Nice meal in the Clock Tower Cafe.

Fabulous displays, even in September. Helpful staff and sales area for plants. Quite a walk for the less able to get from car park.
