Myself my wife and 2 children have just returned from a 3 night stay in seagulls chalet one.The chalet was very clean and tidy on our arrival and the owner Ruth popped by to check everthing was in order and we were happy with everything. We were very pleased with the location 5 mins walk to the beach and pub (the warren) which also lets you take your dog in which was very handy. There is plenty to do when out and about and we had a lovely walk on the beach into brid where there is plenty of things to keep the kids occupied.Although there was a bitter wind the
garden at the front of the chalet is a real little suntrap,we even came back with a bit of colour!Inside within 10 minutes of heaters on it was nice and cosy,we will definateley be paying another visit in the near future.

Seagulls town house is absolutely brilliant!! Two friends and I went to stay last weekend and had a fab time! Ruth was amazing, we were meant to be staying in a chalet a little out of town, and when I asked what the best way for us to get there was - she very very kindly said she'd pick us up from the station! Her town house was free, and she offered that to us instead if we liked, as we were keen to be near town and the station for getting back. So she took us there and showed us around! It was fab, nicely finished, spacious and great sofa and tv! It was a 2min walk from the sea front and town centre, and 5min walk to the station -perfect. Bridlington is a great little town, we went to "Dolphin Restaurant" for a sit down fish and chips which Ruth recommends and we were not disappointed. It has just been refurbished and is great, lovely food. We had fun on the beach kite flying, even if a little wet! And warmed up with hot chocolate in town. A great little spot for a weekend away and Ruth was extremely kind and helpful. Highly recommend. Thank you!

Really pleased you enjoyed your stay Lizzie. I believe holidays are one of the most important things there is, and if there's anything I can do to help, I do try. It's nice to know it's appreciated, and thanks to you for the fudge :)

We recently stayed at Studio, situated on the Crescent in Bridlington. The location was really good, central to both the beach and the town centre. The Studio itself was welcoming, warm, clean and very comfortable and had everything you needed for a fabulous break.

The weather itself on our journey was a little difficult due to the snow, but Ruth the owner was really helpful in keeping us up to date with the conditions in Yorkshire. Thank you Ruth.

Would recommend this property and would stay again.

we stayed in the studio flat the flat had everything you needed it wasnt totally clean but it was eccaptable it was things like the knifes and forks and the plates that needed a good wash when we arrived we were met by overflowing rubbish bins and the decking full of cigarette butts i havnt holidayed inbrid for years and were shocked at how many boarded up propertys there were on the crescent also didnt like the bathroom being in the bedroom it meant who ever slept in lounge had to come into the bedroom but overall the flat is in a good location it just needs smartening up outside because as they say first impressions count

Many thanks for taking the time to write a review, and I am really pleased you enjoyed the location of our flat.

Unfortunately, I only own one flat on The Crescent, so enhancing the appearance of the entire building or street is a little difficult. Perhaps if I get lots more good reviews and many more bookings, I will be able to buy more flats and have a little control :)

Our standard clean is two hours, and in that time we clean the majority of the flat to a very high standard. We do ask that people leave everything as they find it, so occasionally plates and cutlery may be overlooked, and for this I apologise.

With regard to the bathroom, this is a studio flat, designed for two people, with a bed settee for occasional overnight visitors and children. This means it is open-plan living, with a curtain for privacy to the bed area, and a separate spacious shower room. The entrance to the bathroom is part of this arrangement, and families don't usually object to this. We are very proud that we have people who return to this flat again and again, and to date you are the first to report an issue with the bathroom arrangements.

I am rather surprised the bins were overflowing, as my flat is the only one in the building that is currently occupied. Unfortunately there is nowhere else to put bins, and perhaps they get used by day trippers more than they should.

Many thanks for the 4-star rating, and the positive remarks, and we hope that you will return to this, or some of our other accommodation, to see how Bridlington survives these difficult economic times.

Really pleased you enjoyed your holiday at Seagulls, and we look forward to welcoming you again later in the year. Perhaps you might like to try one of our other chalets, or our Log Cabin???

We have a new Playcentre and Bike Hire shop opening at South Shore this Spring, so even more entertainment to offer the kids
