stayed here with a group all ladies this month for a 50th birthday party. VIP tickets for the ELVIS convention had been kindly pre-arranged with peter beforehand.

what can I say? location was spot on! two minutes walk from all shops and beach front and set at the end of a cul-de-sac street. Hotel has very imposing, impressive frontage which sets it apart from the other guest houses! This is the one that greets you as you walk down the street!

We stayed for two nights. The rooms have recently been re-furbished and re-decorated and the pictures on here do not do it the justice it deserves. The bedrooms have a lovely calm atmosphere painted in pastel greens and white with crisp white bed linen and matching towels. There were also tea and coffee making facilities with OREO cookies!! and toliletries in the bathroom (the cotton wool came in handy with certain snoring companions!) It is these little touches that really make your stay welcoming!
This was also the case when we realised not one of our party of eight ladies had thought to bring a hair dryer! two were swiftly produced at breakfast avoiding a hair catastrophe!!
While on the subject of breakfast, it was delicious! full english with an array of cereals, fruit juice, and specialist preserves (marmalade with whisky at 9am! very impressive) all help yourself. Felt just like been at home. Breakfast was quickly served with rounds of toast and peter really goes out of his way to ensure you have everything you need. He even hung around to chat with us long after we had finished as well as denise once the breakfast orders were finished.
The bar and living room area have also undergone a recent re-furb with polished floors and again the pictures do not do it justice. There is a well stocked bar with larger than average measures all reasonably priced!

The one thing I MUST add, which made this stay OUTSTANDING was my cousin and I happened to mention how little sleep we had had the first night due to the snoring of my mother!! Later that day peter and denise handed us the keys to another room, at no extra charge, so we could get a good nights sleep!!! and I can't see many more hotels doing the same!

All in all a lovely stay in a very lovely hotel run by a lovely , welcoming yorkshire couple!

we have recently stayed at the Brentwood House, for a dance competition, the owners were really helpful, providing lots of extra towels for my daughter who does wear fake tan when she is dancing but this was not a problem to Denise & Peter as i said they provided extra towels for her. They catered for her fussy eating habits of a morning at breakfast and showed a genuine interest in how her dancing was progressing. Staying here is just like being home.

My daughter and I have just come back from a 1 night stay at Brentwood House Hotel in Bridlington.
It was very central to everything and right next to the bus station (perfect for us, we travelled there by bus).
The room and breakfast were great, Peter and Denise were very friendly and helpful. eg no problem for them to look after our suitcase while we enjoyed a few more hours holidaying.

The only reason for 4 stars instead of 5 is they still have on their website a pool table listed as one of their facilities when there isn't one. My daughter was a bit disapointed in the evening as she would have enjoyed a quick game.

We would happily stay there again.

The Brentwood House Hotel is right outside the town bus stop and less than a mile to the town train station. The room itself was clean and comfortable. The breakfast was hearty. I noticed a mustiness in the pub / lounge but if it bothered me I would have read in my room. The Brentwood House was no hostel - the other guests were older married couples who largely kept to themselves, no doubt coming back year after year.

we enjoyed our stay at the Brentwood, we found that nothing was too much trouble for Peter and Denise, We also noticed that ongoing improvements are happening at Brentwood, they have just installed a spectacular wooden floor to the entrance hall, dining room and have refurbished the bar with new furniture and a wooden floor to match the others. We stayed here a few years ago when Peter and Denise had just taken over, we have noticed lots of improvements and can honestly say we did not pay a penny more than we first stayed 3 and half years ago, What value.
