i booked to stay for 2 nights over bank holiday with my husband and our 7 year old son.i booked the family room which is very spacious clean and very cosy.the room as everything you need television.tea/coffee making facilities.hair dryer.iron and ironing board.toiletries in the ensuite bathroom.plenty of fluffy towels.we arrived saturday about 12 mrs gallagher welcomed us and checked us into our room.she made us very welcome all throughout our stay and explained to us about our room breakfast times etc.we had a lovey first day around bridlington we ate out and then came back.to our lovely family room.we all had an early night due to the sea air i think and we all had a very good nights sleep in our cosy beds.we got up the next morning and we went down for our cooked breakfast.lots to choose from / full cooked breakfast-cereal-orange juice.tea/coffee.the breakfast was gorgeous very filling.i have coeliac so have to have my own gluten free bread which i took with me.mrs gallagher explained beforehand that they have a seperate toaster as they have many guests with the same dietary requirements. we really enjoyed our stay as we were made so welcome and mr and mrs gallagher have the most amazing home.we will definatly be visiting again soon.i would also like to add the our 7 year old loved it its the first time hes stayed in a b&b and he loved the whole experience.cant wait to come and stay again

My husband and I recently stayed for 1 night at Rosebery House. Our hostess, Helen, was very friendly and welcoming. We were given a family room and this was very spacious. The room was very clean and comfortable. As my husband has dietary requirements Helen was very willing to adapt the breakfast to suit his needs.

Even though there is limited on-site parking Helen provided us with a parking voucher for street parking. We said we were going to the Bempton Cliffs Bird Sanctuary the following day and she also provided a brochure which included a parking voucher for there. The accommodation is conveniently located to the Promenade so is only a short stroll to the beach and food outlets. It's very good value for the service you receive and I would highly recommend it.

Just spent a week here with my Family and in-laws. Helen and John, are fantastic hosts not to mention all the other staff. Hotel is spotless and you are made to feel like one of the family. Great atmosphere great company and a great hotel overall. Would highly recommend to anyone wanting to stay in Bridlington. Also has its own Parking which is very useful in Bridlington.

A huge thanks to Helen, John and their staff on a fantastic holiday for me and my family.

We only happened to come here because the flat we had booked was disgusting especially the beds and was told to GO HOME THEN ! Any way the tourist board found us this hotel, Helen the host coul'nt have been more WELCOMMING ! We needed 2 rooms for 2 adults and 2 adults and 2 children. It was spotless and the breakfasts are very nice and plentiful. Helen can't do enough for you and made our stay very comphy and there was plenty of parking. I would reccomend this to anyone even families the kids were made welcome too. Will defo come back.

Room Tip: ask for a front room views are nicer.

After booking very last minute and after several attempts to find somewhere. Rosebery House was recommended by another hotelier. Parking the car was a little tricky but at least it was free and safe. Our room was quite big and very clean. The bed and pillows were very comfy and there was everything you needed in the room. We read through the welcome pack and went to a Mexican restaurant that was recommended and it was lovely. Our breakfast the next day was very nice, only thing if i had to be picky were the cheap sausages. A nice lincolnshire would have been good. John & Helen were very nice people, chatty, helpful and on the ball. We had a slight problem with our shower and Helen was on to it instantly. Cant ask for more than that. Although the rooms are abit dated they are very clean and at the end of the day thats more important. I will certainly stay here again the next time i stay in Bridlington.

Thank you for your review. We were delighted to welcome you to Rosebery House.
I`m glad it was a good experience and would certainly welcome you again.
However, there were one or two comments which I would like to address.
Sorry you didn`t enjoy the sausages –they are certainly not cheap! Since this is the first less than complimentary remark we have ever had about our breakfast, I immediately rang my supplier who assured me that, whilst they have had complaints about other recipes of sausages (Cumberland too spicy, Lincolnshire not spicy enough !), they have never had a complaint about these. However, we will be taste testing others.
Décor, of course, is subjective. All of our rooms are calm and well decorated. All quality carpets, curtains and bedding are new, having been replaced between June last year and February this year.
I assume you were parked at the back of the house since our front, garden, parking was full - for those who find it tricky, we can offer parking permits for the street.
Glad you enjoyed the Mexican restaurant - we have lots of good eating places in Bridlington, a wonderful beach and lots of places to visit.
Finally, I would like to thank you, once again, for your positive review. Should you return to Rosebery House, we will, as always, work hard to make your stay as happy, and perfect, as possible.
