Description: We are the Wish Cat Cafe which was The Rowan Tree for many years. We specialise in gluten free freshly prepared food served on lovely pretty china in our delightfully pretty and quirky cafe with a fabulous secret garden courtyard for those lazy brunches or relaxing afternoon teas. Pets and children very welcome. Now open in the evenings with our bistro menu which changes every day. Pop in for a full meal or just coffee and dessert or a light bite. Open on Sundays for Sunday lunch only 12-2.30pm. Vegan option available. Gluten free as always.

Second visit, most certainly did not disappoint. Needed a late lunch, so not much choice,(obviously becoming too well- appreciated) but what was available we very much enjoyed. Such excellent coffee, we felt that cream was not needed. Took the last remaining table in the shop area, ideal for browsing, prior to service. If you are near The Leisurecentre, we recommend that you visit The Rowan Tree, but leave a table free for us.
Note - closes 3p.m. each day. (closed Sundays).

Called in for a quick bite to eat and was impressed by the inventiveness of the menu. Enjoyed a succulent, handmade burger with melted brie- certainly the best I have ever had in Bridlington. Young staff who are helpful and happy in their work. Will definitly go back to try the mouthwatering homemade cakes.

We normally stick to the south side in Bridlington, but were delighted to happen on the Rowan Tree thanks to looking for Bonaficio's more or less opposite. Great for healthy lunches and very tempting fresh cakes. We went three times for lunch and weren't disappointed.

We tripped over the is place by accident and were delighted with our find. The restaurant and tea shop is an ideal place for a sit down and a break, and the food is well cooked and inviting.
Good baked potatoes - though my coronation chicken was more like tikka chicken - and lovely tea and cakes.
