Booked in with friends to celebrate my partners 40th which took over 4 months of trying to get a Saturday evening table but certainly well worth the effort. The whole evening was fantastic and the food was fantastic, too many of the dishes were too good to single out but the balance with the recommended wines was sublime. Not something we could do very often but a must experience as a one-off if you can. Terrific

This is, hands down, the best eating experience I have ever had. Please note, that the experience is amazing, the food, however, varied. First off, there are around 13 courses, all of which are presented in a unique matter. But because of that, you will get one or two things that you don't like or that you think is average. However, the experience as a whole is the best I have ever had, hands down. Don't forget that it takes about 3-4 hours to complete the meal and that it is about a 40 minute drive outside of London.

Its probably all been said before, but this was amazing. An unforgettable experience. The food was just fantastic, but what also made our evening so memorable was the staff and the ambience. I've often been to expensive restaurants where you do not feel at ease and the staff are a bit up themselves, but this was nothing like that. It was a relaxing atmosphere, and the staff were brilliant, they wanted us to have a good time, and they seemed to be having a good time themselves, and they were very easy to talk to, so it was very relaxed. They would tell you about the food when it was appropriate, but at other times they left you alone to just enjoy it. We were there for 4 hours, but it didn't seem like it. It was expensive as you would obviously expect, but worth it.

This place is very expensive and you wonder how on earth they can justify it .. Then you go , and experience all the tastes , and the smells, and the service, and the theatre ,and these sensations just keep coming, for nearly four hours..it's a 14 course tasting menu ..then you realise ..it's only money, and a memory like this, is priceless .. It's a theatre show , it's almost certainly the best food you've ever tasted , it's pure indulgence , and it's British .. I went here thinking that Heston Blumenthal was a nutcase and after eating here , I realise he's a genius .. Whatever you think before you come to eat here , you'll think differently afterwards ..everyone should try it just once in their life ..we'll be going again ! Get yourself on the waiting list !
