“Cafe at Worsbrough MILL”

NEW CAFE at the MILL
What a disappointment the new cafe is, went today with the family and all very disappointed. Perhaps its new teething problems for the slowness of service, drinks all consumed before the food arrives! Sandwiches made with bread-cakes that seemed like they had previously been frozen, dry and awful, content no better, the sausage sandwich was just that one sausage sliced into four - unbelievable! also i would suggest the cheapest quality totally tasteless sausage you find in a lay-by trailer. The bacon was no better, the little that there was! Tuna melt pannini ok but again content lacking. I suspect the proprietors must be either very slim or have no idea how to run a successful cafe. Please use more content of superior quality and if need be charge a little extra.
Thought it was possibly our family being over critical until i heard other customers saying the same things.

“Worsbrough Mill and Country Park”

This is a lovely relaxing place to visit, and I think is best to go on a bank holiday Monday when the Mill is running, small shop and cafe, there are picnic tables although it could do with a few more in the grassy grounds at the side of the Mill, there is a nice walk around the Dam and the Pennine Trail runs at the at the side, a really nice area and well worth a visit.

Entry Free

Car Parking around £3.00 I think is a bit pricey though.

A great place to walk around the reservoir, taking photos of the wildlife whilst also having an opportunity to view our industrial past.

“Nice Walk”
Reviewed April 8, 2013

Walked around Worsbrough mill with my girlfriend and the dog, a mixed walk of field and trees, and then around the lake, would recommend.

“expensive parking for nothing there.”
Reviewed March 31, 2013

called on Good Friday. Nothing open, which really surprised us considering it was Easter weekend. Ok the sign did say that the mill was not open on Fridays but we thought the shop or cafe would be open. Not even the toilets were open. We did not want to walk. Only a a full day car park charge of £3. We were there only 15 minutes and felt that was a rip off. I am sure there are nice walks but we did not want to do that this time,
