As ever Premier Inn's staff were pleasant, courteous, helpful and informative. The accommodation was extremely clean and inviting. We were on the 4th floor (thank goodness for lifts) and the views were wonderful.
We were there for a family celebration so there were quite a few of us, and we were always greeted in a pleasant manner.
Ate in the Table Table restaurant, and the meal was very tasty, and there were 10 on our table but the meals were delivered in good time for us all to be eating together.
The only minus point is the parking, we do like to have our car where we can keep a check on it, and although the car park was only across the road, or down in the multi storey, the Inn was in an enclosed courtyard and the cars out of sight. Would definitely stay here again if in the area.

Room Tip: Think most family rooms were on the first floor!!

Very clean room, comfy bed, and spotless bathroom. Customer service was first class, and always on hand if needed. The bar served decent beer, and the service again was good. Keep up the good work Premier Inn Barnsley!

This is a town-centre Premier Inn which is easy to find from the railway station and has very new facilities with excellent service. Very friendly staff. We stayed with teenagers and a younger child and the family room was very satisfactory. Good views from the window!

I would definitely recommend this hotel to anybody, we stayed here on a night out with friends due to difficulty of getting a taxi in barnsley and thought it would be easier to stay the night - we definitely made the right choice. I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again for any purpose and with family, the location was great, the rooms were good, the service was spot on and we got the room for only £29 so great value as well. I can't really think of any reason to complain about this place!

Taxis in Barnsley are notoriously hard to get, so rather than wait 40 minutes in the queue we thought we'd stay over on a night out here. We went out on Easter Sunday so rooms were £29.
There were a number of groups all with same idea as us, but despite this the stay was very quiet.
As normal for Premier Inn the rooms were clean, the beds are comfy and huge and you still get tea and coffee in your room.
There's a restaurant on site, although we only had a few drinks in there.
Another good showing from Premier Inn.
