Excellent Staff - Friendly and helpful - looked after all our family and friends and organized the rooms so we were all as close together as possible. The staff on the front desk were really helpful and they were were able to accommodate our additional requirements relating to the nature of our stay Thank you

Room Tip: ask for a corner room

.........when you stay at a Premier Inn. Nothing to fault, i's not the Ritz, but does just what you need for a very good price at the saver rate. Stayed in many hotels, Premier Inn is preferable to travelodges in my experience, and when all you want is a clean comfortable room, with no fuss and nonsense, I always check the Premier prices first.

Was working in Stockport for a couple of weeks and this is where my company put me up. You don't expect much in the way of luxury in a Premier Inn, but I suppose it did the job. Room was clean and comfy enough with decent facilities although you have to pay over the odds for Wi-Fi (I'm sure it was £20 for a week's access). Staff were friendly and helpful. In-house restaurant wasn't great but wasn't terrible either.

Stayed on the ground floor at the front of the annexe and was woken most nights by the external door slamming every time someone went in or out of the building. There is no reception or staff in the annexe, just a locked door which opens when you put your room key in and is sprung, so it closes itself and it closes very loudly! The external door could definitely benefit from the same soft closing mechanism they have on the room doors.

5min walk to Stockport town centre and train station, then 15min train journey to Manchester. Wouldn't choose to stay here for anything other than work, but it was ok for this.

We booked a family room online but were told when we arrived that we hadn't booked in the children. When I explained that I had booked a family room for two adults and two children I got a cold response from the receptionist who then supposedly changed our rooms. The breakfast was absolutely terrible. To have a cup of tea you had to transport the teapot, cup, teabag and sugar yourself to the table which meant a couple of trips before you got anything to eat. There was hardly any selection for breakfast which I have never know before in all the premier inns I have stayed at. My children were extremely disappointed at they like to have croissants and there weren't any. We will not be coming back to this premier inn.

Very friendly welcome on arrival. Location is also great for Stockport town centre. Room nice and clean, tea/coffee available. Unfortunately I did not sleep very well at all. The hotel is under the Manchester airport flight path and planes run late into the night and start early in the morning. There was also an adjoining door to the next door room which is great if you have a family and want to have use of the door, however, EVERY noise that the neighbouring room made could be heard very clearly. I'm just glad I wasn't with my Mum otherwise could have been very embarrassing! Didn't need to have the volume on our TV as we were watching the same channel as our neighbours we just listened to theirs!!
We booked 2 nights but only stayed for one because of the noise. The staff did refund the one night we did stay as per their "good night sleep" guarantee.

Good enough for what it is, though we thought that it expensive for a budget hotel; those advertised knock down prices are as rare as hens' teeth. Still, we had a pleasant welcome and the room was clean and comfortable. No airconditioning so the room temperature wasn't exactly ideal (the weather was uncharacteristically warm), and the open window meant we were disturbed by early morning deliveries. Probably best to get a room in one of the annexes, away from said deliveries and the prospect of being disturbed by drinkers spilling out from the bar that's in the main building - what must have once been a fine Georgian rectory.

just returned from a one night stay at this premier inn, reception info good, room clean. the actual hotel is as you would expect same as all other premier inns, but remember a premier inn is only as good as the restaurant it is attached to and this is not attached to a whitbread run establishment.

on the plus side close to town center
