Arriving 2 hours early as we were attending the Take That Concert in the evening in Manchester. The staff were efficient, friendly and very helpful and not once pointed out we were early than the terms and conditions.
The room was clean, light and airy and very comfortable. Free parking was ideal especially with the Railway Station just round the corner and 15 mins into the City. Breakfast was cooked to order and simply delicious with as much as you want. I would certainly recommend this Premier Inn to anybody visiting Manchester for what ever reason.

We picked this Premier Inn the night before flying from Manchester Airport because of it's location to the railway station - 167 walking yards from the Premier Inn making the train fare substantially cheaper than a taxi or the shuttle to the Premier Inn at Rutger Lane. This PI is only one stop, a few minutes, on the train from Man Airport.

Very, very helpful and pleasant staff. We thought it was perfect for our 5am start back to the airport the following morning. The beds and cleanliness were very good - nice comfy beds as their advert states. I cannot comment on the food from the attached Beefeater as these kinds of restaurants we do not eat in. We brought food to eat for our dinner and had booked the brilliant Escape Lounge at the airport where we would have breakfast and a peaceful start to our 9 hour flight.

Unfortunately we did have an issue with the occupants of two rooms who checked-in after midnight and woke us both up. Both were incredibly noisy, slamming doors, television turned up loud and the occupants in the room next door were having a very loud constant conversation. Eventually I got up and went to reception and the young man came along and asked the occupants of the room next door to please be quiet. They were, just long enough for me to get back to our room, climb into bed and their very loud conversation started again. At 1.30am I had had enough and banged so hard on the wall that I actually hurt my hand. Only then did they finally shut the hell up! We were up at 5am and we are very quiet - the temptation to start slamming doors and banging around was very tempting - but I didn't want to reduce myself to the level of the inconsiderate neighbours!

I made an official complaint to PI and they refunded our room charge under their 'have a good night' scheme.

I wouldn't hesitate to use this PI again, but would request a room right at the end of the corridor to try to avoid too much noise from inconsiderate late check-in guests.

This Premier Inn was a great find, ideal for trips into Manchester with the railway right next door. Easy to find with free parking, Beefeater attached for a decent evening meal and drinks, as well as for the all you can eat breakfast the next morning. The double room we had was clean and comfortable, although I would recommend installing aircon as it did get a little warm in the night. The plane noise didn't disrupt our sleep, although would have done if we opened the window. The staff were really friendly, and we would definitely stay again the next time we are in Manchester.

Staff helpful with every kind of query from food/menu questions to personal preferences. Although hotel is situated at the end of Manchester runway, the insulation kept noise to a minimum. Room bright with good lighting and good wide screen modern digital tv with all free view channels. Bed especially comfortable yet firm and did not creak when you moved and for me a welcome bonus of being higher off the floor than most beds so easier to get in and out.
Good food. Room has kettle and tea/coffee.

Room Tip: Next to Heald Green train station.
