“Mediocre Meal”
Reviewed October 26, 2013

For us, every curry starts with poppadoms. It's almost a benchmark for the rest of the meal, if you can't get those right what chance is there for what's to follow. Had to send the first lot back as they were stale. There is just no excuse for that, they are cheap and cheerful and should always be fresh and crispy.
The main dishes, I had the chicken Jalfrezi and my wife had a King Prawn Dhansak, were quite bland. The Jalfrezi had heat but no depth of taste. We also had two plain Paratha's, these should be crispy and flaky with a rich buttery taste not the soft and tasteless offerings that were presented. Finally the rice, stodgy with very little seasoning.

Staff are very friendly food is very tasty, has large selection on the menu. Prices are very reasonable and they have a happy hour so you can eat cheaper at certain hours.

“Beautifully cooked food at reasonable prices”
Reviewed September 5, 2013 via mobile

Went on friend's recommendation. Was not disappointed. Midweek happy hour deal is £7.95 for full meal which was delicious. Lamb Rogan Josh which was so tender. Lovely big naan bread. Decor is typical Indian restaurant and a bit dates but don't let that put you off. The staff are very friendly and attentive and the food is lovely. If you can't eat all of your food they will pack it up for you to take home. Will definitely return and recommend it to my friends.
