“Tibet and Sauvignon Blanc”

One of those place, along the road in the outskirts of a town a thousand miles away from
where you live, you wish to be in your own neighbourhood.
Needless to add things like excellent quality, kind and dedicated service, sauvignon blanc of
good quality and correctly priced, excellent quality/price balance in all. Just give it a try and you’ll
be surprised.

“food is amazing”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed January 29, 2013

We were recomended by friends to come here, and i'm glad i have such great friends! we visited on Saturday and the place was full. it was our second time visiting a Neplaese restaurant, with the first not being so good, but this place was brilliant!!
Waiting staff 9/10
service 9/10
food 10/10
after our meal the owner came over to ask how our experience went, and we were happy to report to her that we will be coming here again.
some of the comments about this place must be wrong, I had the lamb shank Gurkali dish, which I finished and recieved a free brandy for, and it was tasty to the end but VERY hot! my wife had the jhilly milly with prawns and the chef adjusted the dish to a low fat gluten free version for her. The food is cooked to order and is really fresh tasting, the waiting staff are quite knowledgable, the atmosphere is good and the price reflects the quality of food.
looking forward to our return visit with the kids.

“Tasty food”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed January 26, 2013 via mobile

Went with a party of 4 on a Saturday evening. The restaurant was full, luckily we had booked. The service was great and the food came quickly and was really tasty.
It costs a little more than some local restaurants but the taste is worth it.

“Food not as good as it was.”

Lately the standard of the food has dropped from excellent to very average. I can only assume the chef has changed.

“Yeti's retreat”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed January 14, 2013

A litttle different from your average (or even good) curry house. A great range of Nepal inspired dishes, excellent service and a very friendly ambience. If you' appreciate real flavours, give it a try. This photo doesn't do it justice!
