Description: The March Hare in Cheadle Hulme is a country pub & restaurant oozing rural charm and rustic character. Our picturesque surroundings provide the perfect backdrop for savouring the hearty, seasonal pub-food on our menu, and the carefully nurtured cask ales and fine wines gracing our bar.

We went for a family celebration meal and thoroughly enjoyed our meal. Everyone in our party enjoyed their choices from the very comprehensive menu. The only minus point was that service was not up to the standard of the food. The staff were very pleasant but we had to wait far too long between courses. Wine prices were a little on the high side - thesame wines are available at lower prices elsewhere.

Called into the march hare purely by chance on a sunday lunch.
Having worked up an appetite spending money on shopping my beautiful partner and I decided on a sunday lunch.
On route to our preferred destination we happened upon the march hare .
Always wanting to find new places we decided to give it a go ........ excellent choice
Drinks ordered, menu perused and food order placed we awaited our feast with the excitment of children in willy wonkas chocolate factory.
Starters arrived and were dutifully scoffed with glee. My partner inforned me her calamari was the best she had !! Praise indeed .
Mains of a shared Sunday roast platter arrived and we both agreed it was lovely .
Plenty to eat and i can eat for england some days i can assure you .
All in all a very enjoyable couple of hours .
Great food, excellent service, lovely pub .
Should you wish to enjoy a sunday lunch it may be advisable to book , we were lucky but when we left it was rather busy .
We shall definitely return to this fine establishment.

This lovely pub tucked down a side street is a gem of a find. Being off the main road you'd think the traffic noise would be loud. It's remarkably quiet when you're sitting in the garden in the sun. The only noise you'll hear is from the aeroplanes taking off. The food is excellent and the staff are lovely. I had blue cheese starter which was amazing and my partner had calamari. I had fish and chips and the other half had a caeser salad with a huge piece of salmon. A great value for money lunch. We'll definitely be back.
