I did a 3 km walk and happened to end up here, so I just had a nice drink of Diet Coke. The staff were very nice. Can't give it 5 only because I haven't had the food.

I were pleasantly surprised at the size of this place. I looks quite small from the outside but once you go inside you have plenty of room to sit. The eating area is separate from the drinking area and is better for eating when you have people in just drinking. The staff are plessent and very helpful. I would defernately recommend the March hare....

Dog friendly, great food, lovely atmosphere and decor, quite a varied menu with something for everyone, can see it getting busy at peak times but walking distance for us so not an issue

We had spotted signs for the place several times on our way home from work and said we would pop in when the opportunity arose. Following a late stay in work, we decided to pop in at 9.30pm save cooking when home and glad we did. Despite the time, the staff were welcoming. We stayed for three courses on the set menu (around £16pp) and this was varied, including steak without a supplement. The food was great and we didn't feel like staff were pressing for us to eat up and leave. Will certainly be returning (earlier in the day) sometime soon

I visited The March Hare on Bank Holiday Monday with family and friends. We booked the table in advance and received a warm welcome when we arrived. There was a good choice of beers, wines and soft drinks available. The menu is packed full of pub favourites old and new and choosing was tricky. There was also the option of fixed price 2 or 3 course meals. There was plenty of choice for the children too. The food was good quality and well cooked. I opted for the Halloumi Caesar salad which was the best I think I have ever had. The service was friendly and prompt. I would definitely visit again and would highly recommend.
