Excellent restaurant with a great menu.

It is expensive compared to other restaurants in the area however it is in my opinion worth it as the food is exceptional and the restaurant itself is beautifully presented.

Highly recommend Sunday lunch here.

My husband and I visited this restaurant for the second time on Sunday. I continue to be impressed with this restaurant. The food was excellent and the staff are pleasant and friendly although sometimes they did forget to bring things like accompanimemts. All in all we had a very enjoyable evening; I would recommend this restaurant.

We took my goddaughter to Damson, Heaton Moor, for a special treat before she went off travelling, and what a treat it was. We had wonderful food, the service was spot on and it was an evening for us all to remember. Next stop Damson, Media City, to see if that is just as good - I'm sure it will be.

Enjoyed my visit and would happily return. The dining room is a cozy mix of purples and exposed oak with the odd quirky feature thrown in.

It was quiet but service was attentive and not intrusive. We had the set menu 18.95 for three courses, which represents decent value.
The chicken liver parfait was above average and had a stronger flavour than most. The haddock risotto to start was satisfyingly unctuous and warming for a cold winter night and the suggestion of curry oil elevated the dish further.

Mains of sea bream and chicken breast were good if not spectacular. The bream was well cooked with a lovely crispy skin, the artichoke that came with it was quite superfluous, watery and tended to wash the dish out a little. Best leave it aside.

The panacotta was a touch run of the mill, the chocolate deice comes with a variety of little surprises such as honeycomb... A real treat.

Overall, very good , worth a visit, could sharpen up one or two little thing to make it great.
