This is the total reverse of Wigan Market this place is buzzing with life,
Stall selling a wide range of goods.
Some thing for everyone here.

“Best market I have been to in UK.”
Reviewed March 15, 2013

Bury market is open Wednesdays, Fridays and Saturdays. It can get busy at the weekend, so come early for parking if you drive. There is an inside market which opens daily as does the meat and fish market. Not sure about Sundays.

The outside market is a warren of alleyways and stalls. It is easy to lose your bearings at first, but after a while you end up where you started! There are a wide variety of stalls. The bury black pudding stall is a particular local favourite. Buy some black pudding to eat while you walk or to take home.

This market is still thriving and vibrant which does buck the trend of many outdoor markets these days. So it's worth coming just to keep it going. Other shops in bury too. It does rain a bit in Bury, so bring a brolly if it looks like rain.
