A notice in BIG RED FONTS should be used to tell the customers that Travelodge Bury charge £5/hour for WiFi and there is a car parking fee. There is nothing that appears obvious on the online booking page. A big minus from me about this. Had to go to McDonalds and use their WiFi because I refused to pay their extorionate prices. Travelodge you lost my business.

We were welcomed by a friendly receptionist (and also another friendly receptionist at checkout). The hotel was fresh and comfortable. The bed was very comfortable and bathroom and shower very good too. The minor irritation was my wife's pet hate - there were several long black hairs in the otherwise pristine sheets and also in the bathroom. The major failing was the road noise - we're from the country where it's very quiet so perhaps it was extra noticeable to us - and our room was on the road side. It's probably quieter in rooms on the business park side.

Otherwise, it's in a good location with a selection of eateries - from fast food to a pub / restaurant next door and ASDA supermarket across the road.

Room Tip: Choose a room on the business park side if you want a quiet night...

I stayed at bury Travelodge over the weekend and was dreading it after reading the reviews on here however when I went to check in the lady on reception informed me that the hotel had just had a refurb .i was given room 5 and have to say I was very impressed the new beds are amazing and have 4 big pillows on it instead of the 2 flat pillows that you would usually find in a Travelodge new curtains wall art and bed runner make a massive difference to the rooms .the room was spotless the staff were friendly and very helpful great location with Asda a lovely pub next door McDonald's and a bowling alley very impressed especially having only paid £29 will defiantly be back .
