“Superb venue and restaurant”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed December 30, 2013

The best place for food, drink and music in Bury, never disappoints. The food is of the highest standard and value, the restaurant atmosphere is always lively with friendly serving staff. A good selection of real ales and guest lagers which regularly changes. The music venue has good variety of acts and shows, again, excellent value for money and good seating arrangements. I personally recommend the Blues nights, great up and coming bands are preforming most months.
Cant get enough of it!

“Wonderful music venue”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed November 13, 2013

A brilliant venue for good music. We went to see The Blues Band. Superb. So much energy and enthusiasm. Easy to book, great views as seats are steeply raked. Easily accommodated our friend who is a wheelchair user. Great bar for pre/interval drinks and lively friendly staff. What's not to like?

“Intimate venue for a very good concert.”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed November 3, 2013 via mobile

We visited The Met for a China Crisis concert on a very wet and windy Saturday evening. The venue is on a Main Street in Bury and, as it was after 6pm, there was plenty of street parking and taxis. On entry the foyer is small but leads to a very busy restaurant and bar.
The theatre is accessed by a winding staircase and leads into another foyer with a bar off it. The bar serves a nice pint of real ale and lots of other drinks, not particularly pricey bearing in mind it is a venue.
The great delight is the theatre, small, intimate and yet very comfortable. There are probably about 200 seats and room for another 300 standing. The acoustics are good and the light show was okay for the concert we were watching. All the staff were very pleasant and helpful and helped to make a good night great. I could thoroughly recommend this venue as a place to go for a concert.
Well done The Met!
