We held the wedding reception of our daughter claire and her husband philip at this amazing hotel on the 31st of August 2013.Pam and mike we're fantastic hosts and couldnt do enough for us and all our guests,Nothing was to much trouble. This hotel is so beautiful, the perfect place to have any celebration. We have had very positive feedback from all our guests regarding the hospitality and friendliness of,not only pam and mike, but all of there staff, jackie, kevin, orry and the rest of there staff. They all worked so hard to make it so special.A special thankyou to pam for taking some beautiful picture's of the day, they are lovely and the canvas you gave me as a gift was such a lovely thought. My daughter and son in law spent there wedding night in the bridal suite and have expressed there delight at the way they we're treated by all of the staff. The grooms sister and her family also spent the night in the hotel and there children we're treated to breakfast in bed by the hotel staff,a lovely gesture. The whole day was throughly enjoyable and that was in no small part down to pam, mike and there excellent staff. My wife and i would like to personally thank pam, mike and all there staff for a truly unforgetable day,it will stay in our memory forever.

We celebrated my great niece's Baptism at the Old Rectory on Sunday. It was absolutely fantastic.
We were greeted by staff & the owners in the lovely gardens with glasses of buzz fizz. The Buffett lunch was plentiful with a varied menu to cater for all tastes. Pam, Jackie & all the staff were very friendly & efficient. The grounds & hotel were a real treat. Although Pam was really busy she took time out to give us a guided tour of the hotel & enlightened us of the history. The whole experience today for our special day was expectional. A huge thank to all at the Old Rectory. We will definetly make a return visit.

We have just celebrated our wedding with families and friends at the Old Rectory. It was as said above the best day ever. Nothing was too much trouble for Pam, Mike, Jackie and all the staff and they made our day so special. The whole thing was relaxed and leisurely and went off without a hitch. Can't thank everyone enough! It was perfect and I will be shouting their praises to everyone I know. Thank you one and all.

Room Tip: The rooms are all different and quirky. We were spoilt for choice but clearly the bridal suite ticke...

Following the death of my Father I decided to book The Old Rectory for the funeral reception having been once before, Pam remembered me and made such a terrible time so much nicer for me and my family to relax in after the Funeral. Nothing is too much trouble for Pam and the service you receive is second to none ! The gardens were beautiful and the family was able to sit in the gardens and simply relaxing without anyone else around.

Having gone on such a sad occassion myself and a group of friends decided to go back and celebrate a 65th Birthday. Everyone enjoyed themselves and we were given a guided tour of the grounds and hotel by Pam. It was so nice to go back and feel at ease with a group of friends. Everyone had a great night and loved the food, gardens, hotel, atmosphere and most of all Pam that made the night. Everyone is now planning for an excuse to go back !

Tucked away in the Heart of England, The Old Rectory House offers a relaxing & comfortable venue for work & play. Our quintessential Elizabethan & Georgian House radiates charm & peace, providing the perfect setting for all family occasions including weddings, christenings, birthday parties and funeral receptions and ideal for conferences, business meetings, seminars, training sessions and team building events. THE GROUNDS Our house sits in the heart of three acres of wooded gardens, with hundreds of plants and trees. Many of our larger trees including the stunning English Oaks, the Portuguese Laurels and the Weeping Ash were planted over 200 years ago. With our very own croquet lawn at the front of the house, its landscape is a perfect setting for picnicking, partying, pampering and pondering, and although it can feel blissfully set apart from the bustle of everyday life, it's within remarkably easy reach of many of the Warwickshire & Worcestershire's most exciting highlights. The team at The Old Rectory House know the estate and area like the back of their hands, so whether you need a recommendation for a picnic spot, directions for a nature walk, or a map for an all-day ramble (marked with the best local pub stops, naturally), just pop into the House for a chat. Birmingham International Airport, Resort World, NEC & Gentings Arena can be accessed by car within 20 minutes using the M42 motorway network which is 5 minute drive from the hotel. Bicester Shopping Village is only 55 minutes from the Old Rectory Hotel London is only 1 hour 30 minutes by train which makes our hotel a perfect retreat for holiday international tourists. THE HISTORY The Old Rectory House Hotel is probably the best kept secret in the Worcestershire county, it has stood on this site for several hundreds of years and has a wealth of historical connections. The house lies between the original Roman built Icknield Street, which runs along the far boundary, and the monastic carp lakes at the rear of the property. The Doomsday Book lists a building on this site in 1086, during which time Lady Godiva's son was Lord of the Manor. The Great Grandson of Sir Christopher Wren lived in the house for over forty years and made a number of alterations in that time. He completely modernised the original Elizabethan house in 1812 by adding a Georgian facade to the front elevation of the building. ... more   less
