“Very nice stay”
Reviewed April 27, 2014

We had booked 3 rooms for 2 nights as we had an event near by. The rooms were extremely clean and spacious compared to a lot of hotel rooms. Unfortunately we did not eat in the restaurant
But there was a nice bar.
Would stay here again

We had three nights DB&B with friends and had a really lovely Easter weekend. The rooms were lovely with everything we needed, even an Iron and ironing board in the room! The bed was comfortable and spotless. Extra pillows if needed and a cleaning fairy who came in each morning and straightened the room and left us clean towels.
The dining room was very welcoming, pleasant and bright. The food was excellent with a Curry night on Fridays with all you could eat. This was an optional choice as well as usual menu. The two other nights we dined were excellent with a good selection on menu and great staff who were most pleasant with great senses of humour. The breakfast was buffet style which once again the food was great.
We were made most welcome by all the staff, including the ladies on reception who helped our friend when he locked his self out of his room... nothing was too much trouble and always a welcoming smile..

Room Tip: Room 9 looked out to the front of hotel which was good as didn't hear any noise even though ther...

Weekend stay April 2014- Clean, contemporary modern hotel with large public spaces- restaurant, bar/ lounge, car park. Good value for money dinner menu and excellent wide choice, good value, buffet breakfast. Modern well appointed air conditioned room. Staff were efficient but reluctant to smile and pass the time of day - an improvement would make a big difference here.

Edge of town with nearby, convenience store/ fuel station and parks for recreation. Good location for Severn Valley steam railway and Safari park. Better alternative to "lodge hotels" - will stay again.

Room Tip: Some rooms do not have a 'view'. Try to avoid parking under one of the many trees in the car...

lovely room, beautiful en-suite, breakfast was very good too, good value for money. Staff were pleasant but more so the cleaners rather than the 'front of house' staff, room for improvement perhaps. would probably stay again if in the area.

excellent hotel, service and staff couldn't have done more. Stayed here following lovely wedding service, reception and evening party held at the hotel. Wedding was well orgainsed, staff helpful and ensured everything went without a problem during the day. The rooms were clean and breakfast next day was very welcome. Thank you all.

We stayed overnight on our way home from Cornwall. We booked the champagne package and everything from making the initial booking was excellent. Beautiful room, fabulous bathroom, good food, excellent friendly staff, excellent champagne, amazing towels. Only one thing stops me giving 10 out of 10 - why only one sachet of hot chocolate? We had two of everything else, tea, coffee, milk but only one hot chocolate, never mind we had to share and it was lovely. Only one word of warning - don't park under the trees at the front big birds sleep there!

Room Tip: Room 29 excellent

With more imagination and attention to detail this could be very good hotel.I spent two nights here whilst on business. My room was very good and the staff were helpful. The restaurant menu, however was quite limited and made no provision for those with dietary problems.I was noy too impressed with the quality of the food. but perhaps I was unfortunate in my choice from the menu. The whole experience did not put me off, however, and I would stay there again.
