We booked a 3-night weekend break in order to visit the Severn Valley Railway. We loved the building in which it was situated which had been sympathetically restored from an old carpet factory. The whole hotel was very clean, bright and modern and our room was spacious. The bed was comfortable, the air conditioning was efficient (essential during our visit) and the room contained everything we required during a short break. We cannot comment on the restaurant as we dined out. Good central location. Cannot fault this venue for an economical and comfortable short break. One negative which cannot be attributed to the hotel was the nuisance value of parking in a public car park which required payment between 8am to 6.30pm and ensuring you had sufficient change to feed the meter.

Stayed for two nights with the family, (12 people) the hotel rooms were very good, tidy, clean the air conditioning worked perfectly as it was extremely hot weather, the staff were excellent, helpful, friendly, and apologetic, which brings me to the but... the evening meal was a disaster, first no steaks, which left us with burgers and fried chicken and fish etc. the burgers were not very nice every thing was over cooked and at times the wrong plate of food brought to the table, the staff seemed to be in a bit of a panic, although we had a meal deal for two nights, on the second night we went to a restaurant in the town. on the other hand the breakfast was fantastic, hot well prepared and lots of it if you wanted more. the lack of hotel parking is a bit of a downer and can add to the overall price of the stay, but I would still recommend the hotel to anyone as i'm sure our restaurant experince was a one off, once again full marks to the staff.

Stayed for 2 nights. Never had breakfast in any premier inn before, glad we did this time though. Very good value for money. Children eat free. There is only parking in the car park £2.30 for 2 hours £3 something for 3 hours. Parking is free after 6:30pm - 08:00am. If you pay for 3 hours at 5:30, the 2 hours are carried over to the following morning. Means you don't have to worry about getting up too early. There is every type of shop close by. Nice pub, buy one get one free, down the canal. Loved this premier inn.

This Premier Inn is located on a retail park in an old converted mill building above a Debenhams store, and, the reception is on the fourth floor, but don't let this put you off staying in this hotel. The rooms are clean and comfortable with air conditioning and the restaurant was excellent with first class service. The only negative point to this hotel is that it does not have its own car park, there is a pay and display car park but this could prove quite costly if you are parking your car for any length of time.
I would recommend a stay in this hotel, especially a meal in the in-hotel restaurant.
