“Fantastic Food”
Reviewed March 26, 2013

We have been eaten here a number of times over the past few months and consider the quality and value of the food to be the best. The choice of Real Ale and wines are excellent. Highly Recommended. Top quality pub grub.

“Thank you contributors fantastic”
Reviewed February 25, 2013

Son lives in Bristol us up north family in Stourport looked for somewhere to meet for Sunday lunch. I remembered mitre oak contributors did not like it though so went to white hart instead absolutely fantastic from start to finish. Very warm log fire and staff welcome. Great Sunday lunch menu £10:00 for main £4:00 for starter and again for pudding and what a menu. All the normal Sunday lunch expectations but just enough veggie and other alternatives to please everyone. Staff excellent ( I am being picky here because they were good but come on chef make sure your waiting staff know what they are serving and what the contents of the meal -are). For starters we had pea soup served as if at a Michelin restaurant, red mullet cous cous , jerk chicken salad and risotto with a poached egg on top all perfect. Then to mains. Me salmon( just,as always seems the way slightly overcooked) beef roast and cheese and spinach tortellini again everyone perfect. Had to go but deserts looked even better particularly cheese board wine list not tried but a comfortable range not too expensive. Toilets vey good parking very good all round a great Sunday lunch told all our family a place to go . There were burgers and chips on menu which some were eating in bar by log fire all very nice. Oh as much as I don't like it they did allow dogs in the bar if you are out walking. It all looked recently refurbished and a good job, not too over the top, job had been done. Well done to everyone.

“great find !”
Reviewed February 16, 2013

We have now been four times and each has been excellent, valentines night was our last visit, the food is superb quality and quantity for a pub with a nice dining room well spaced. The service is a little haphazard, especially the younger staff, lack of knowledge about the menu. Would recommend to anyone looking for a pub with a difference.

“A great find”
Reviewed January 7, 2013 via mobile

We were staying up the road at the Menzies stourport manor and decided to eat out on the second night. On arrival at the white hart we asked for a table to dine. The young waitress went to enquire and quickly showed us to a table. The food and service was excellent. Fresh complimentary bread was bought to us and all food was home cooked and tasty. From the entrance of the pub you can see through the window into the kitchen always a good sign I think. The prices were reasonable approx £15 for a two course meal

“An undiscovered little gem”

I've eaten here twice recently and really couldn't fault it on either occasion. Fine food, excellently prepared and sensibly priced. Good service too from the staff. First class!
