Returned to visit a college friend and met for lunch at a beautifully restored victorian home in downtown Indiana, PA. Benjamin's. Had great service and an outstanding menu. Beautiful outdoor patio for a beautfil day to be oustside. The food is fresh, and restaurant is very clean and very pleasing atmosphere. The windows were spotless. Had an excellent salad and homemade soup. But the most spectacular was the dessert menu. A tray of homemade fresh delights were presented and we had Italian lemon rum cake and turtle cheese cake. Both were to die for. I live about 2 hours away from Indiana,,, but I would make the trip for dinner and lunch (and homemade pastas) anytime. The desserts alone would be worth the drive. I highly recommend Benajamin's and can't wait to go back. Great food for the money.
