wanted to treat hubby to a night away in Bewdley. Been to west midland safari park which is fantastic and had a free return visit so wanted somewhere close. Also wanted to spend a few hours on the local steam train but when we arrived at Mug House the sun was shining so as so rare this year sat outside the Inn which is on the river watching the world go but with a few beers. Then spent pleasant hour walking along the riverfront. We had Rose room which was at the front overlooking the river...too many knick knacks for my liking(worried about breaking something) but was spacious and clean. We ate at there restaurant and the food was really good and for a tuesday night was nearly full. Lots of locals in the bar which is a very good sigh.
Breakfast was superb...locally sourced produce..home made yogurt. Set us up for a day round safari park(in the rain!!!)
Highly recommend mainly for the location, friendly staff and fantastic food
