“lovely room”
Reviewed July 13, 2014

I stayed here a while back as it had good access to the safari park the room was lovely but as it was in town there was a lot of noise from outside. It was very reasonable and would recommended as it is close to attractions.

“Great value Wetherlodge”
Reviewed June 6, 2014 via mobile

This was a first for us in a Wetherlodge and very impressed I was. Excellent value for money. Although a very old building the room we had was small but well appointed with all the usual bits and pieces you'd find in any three star hotel. This was just a one night stopover so couldn't explore locally. The Wetherspoons is a fairly standard 'spoons, the beer and food, especially the breakfast, are good value. You could definitely do worse than the George Hotel.

Thank Nigel W

“Weekend clientele spoils it for us”
Reviewed June 23, 2013

There are some great pubs in Bewdley but unfortunately the clientele in quite a lot of them puts me off on a Saturday night in this beautiful town. The George was too busy and crowded for us we went to the Cock & Magpie, the only pub we found in Bewdley where we could hear each other speaking.

The George must have been a splendid coaching inn in pre lager days but today its sadly just another pub. Best visited mid week-dont forget to look up at this splendid building from the outside

2 Thank Acallerinspects
