I have stayed here 7 or 8 times over the last few years and and have always found the H&T quite good but is does have a couple of faults
First is the fact that it is situated on one of the buisiest junctions in the area with trafic passing your bedroom windows 24/7 plus which it seems that all the pubs in the area have beer barrel deliveries at 5am which is not good when your trying to get some sleep?
And the second is that there is no parking arround the pub and you either have to chance parking in a layby just outside the pub on yellow linet or in the pay and display car park 100 yards or so away?
Apart from this i would recomend the H&T to any anglers or visitors as the food is quite good and as a family run pub it is welcoming and the beer is excelent.
