Owner description: Join us for the perfect family day out.... Take the 4-mile Drive-Through Safari and come face to face with some of the fastest, tallest and cutest animals around. Stick your tongue out at the majestic giraffes... Feed the cheeky ankole cattle... See the stunning Sumatran tigers... And whistle at a pack of dhole. Have a wander around the Discovery Trail visiting Mark O'Shea's Reptile World, Twilight Cave, Creepy Crawlies, SeaQuarium, Sea lion Theatre and Penguin Cove with its underwater viewing area. Don't miss our small exotic animals in our hands-on animal encounter, the sea lion show, the reptile talks or the penguin feeds. Amble around the African Village. See the cheeky meerkats and pet the African sheep and goats. Keep an eye out for our playful ring-tailed lemurs, small white-fronted brown lemurs, and fluffy red-bellied lemurs in Lemur Woods, the largest walk-through lemur wood in the UK.

“Great place for animal lovers”
Reviewed January 14, 2013

I love this place and cant wait to take the kids again. I think it is great value for money, and with the free return ticket makes it even better. We walked around the park first which has some great animals to see. We enjoyed the sea lion show and seeing the hippos. We took our own food so cant comment on food facilities. The safari was amazing, getting up so close to the animals and being able to feed them was brilliant. You can take your time in the enclosures there are areas you can stop and watch the animals for as long as you like. I would thoroughly recommend this park for a day out I enjoyed it as much as the kids.

“Halloween Trip”
Reviewed January 3, 2013

We really enjoyed our trip around West Midland safari park and as we had gone at Halloween we made full use of the extended openings by doing the safari on the morning and then going to the rides in the afternoon. It was not cheap but we certainly got our moneys worth as towards the end we where the only one on the rides and they even ran the "Black Fly" twice with only my 8 year old daughter on it. The safari park was as good as Longleat and the highlight was feeding the deer, the dear food was extra but better value for money that the £1.50 we paid to feed a giraffe the smallest lettuce leaf you have ever seen at Longleat.

“Fun for all the family”

Not like a zoo, animals will come up to your cars....Expensive food in the cafe/food hall, but very diverse selection, catering for all tastes.

“great day out”
Reviewed January 2, 2013

I love this place. If you take your time and enjoy all the animals it takes about an hour and a half to go round but then you have the shops, sea lion shows, reptiles house and the lemur woods still to go. It's just a brilliant day out for everyone. You can tell the animals are well cared for and thought about unlike some zoo's iv visited. I try to visit once a year when the weathers good. If your not taking children I'd recommend going on a weekday while the kids are at school as its just quieter then and easier to enjoy.
