An old style indian resturant. We went mid week a quiet night. But still got excellent service and nice food.

We turned up without booking on A Saturday evening and the staff budged a couple of tables around and accommodated us. This restaurant is very small probably best to book on Friday & Saturday. They only do Cobra is small bottles and they could have need a little colder, perhaps they should swap the carlsberg draft for Cobra.. The food came out hot and reasonable quality and not bad value. The staff served the food in a professional manner. We asked for the bill and it arrived promptly, because the staff where busy we left our cash on the table and left, we only stepped on to the street and our waiter took the trouble to come out and thank us. Nice
Popadoms all stale and side sauces old mixed up and stale.
4 meals - no dish had any taste at all, no trace of spice or Indian flavours.
The meats chicken and lamb were detached form any hint of flavouring.Chicken tasted like an old broiler meat.2 dishes were ultra dry and tasteless.
Garlic nan a disaster not hot not fresh with garlic crystals on it??
The small restaurant was full with people many taking takeways all standing by the seated diners STARING at you as you attempt to eat the poor food.
Toilet upstairs were very small, dated and not clean.
All in all " Best is to avoid "
Still keep returning to this wonderful restaurant....food excellent...service excellent...waiting staff first class...can't fault it...plus it serves the best Irish coffee i have ever had...even better than the ones i have had back in Ireland...the staff seem to know each customer by name...always seem to remember everything you told them on previous visit...GREAT PLACE...
