Food good, service very slow despite not being very busy. You shouldn't have to wait 20 mins for a drink and 40 mins for food

Hola Jed,

Glad you enjoyed the food, but really sorry to hear about the wait on food and drinks. We try to make sure service goes smoothly, but sometimes we miss a bit. If you would get in contact with us with a contact number and a good time to call, we would love to get some more details from you about your visit.

Gracias,
Jason

The staff were amazing so friendly and polite, however the food was average to be kind and the music was so loud we couldn't hear each other speak and it was sadly full of crying children!! Not the most relaxing of meals.

Hola Lynn,

Glad to hear you enjoyed the service so much, but sorry to hear about the food not being up to your standard. We have some high standards at our restaurants and always strive to give the best we have. As for the children, well what can we say..having the Familia here is what we do and sometimes the little ones just want to be heard. We want to hear some more about your visit, so if you would drop us your contact details and a good time to call, we would love to give you a call. Latasca.newbrighton@latasca.co.uk

Visited this restaurant lately as it was one of the last for us to try in Marine Point. The welcoming was good. We ordered the sharing plate to start that was nice except that it came before our drinks!! We also ordered the children menu for our daughter who is 8 and it was so small that it would have been more suited to a toddler. She could choose 3 "dishes" and that came with some peppers. What came to the table was ridiculous. She choose Paella and there must have been 2 spoonfuls in these tiny pot (half a yoghurt pot size), one tiny slice of garlic bread and a few slivers of peppers. We had to,share some of our meals with her it was so ridiculous. I think that it should say on the menu (or the staff should warn that he children menu is only relevant for toddlers, not children!). We both ordered paella to follow. Mine was swimming in oil whilst my husband was dead dry (sat too long under the lamp). It was filling but tasteless. We didn't bother with desserts but my daughter did and had brownies that were surprisingly of a size you would expect for a child. Unfortunately I did not get a chance to give feedback as we were never asked, not even when we were paying. Back to Chimichanga for us there anytime.

Hola Tishybabe,

Sorry to hear you had an unpleasant experience with us. We try to make sure that all the food comes out the same consistancy and that the portions are correct. We greatly appreciate the feedback, but we have a couple more questions. If you could send us your contact details and a good time to call, we would really love to speak with you further about your visit.

The food was lovely! Only thing that was a little disappointing regarding the food was the white fish. Too much batter that was overcooked. Otherwise excellent!

Great atmosphere, friendly staff, great value!
