Went here for a evening meal, three of us for a birthday treat , seated by the window for the fantastic view. When we were seated there were only three other tables eating, we were then asked by three different waitresses on three different occasions if we'd like drinks , these arrived 15 mins later , the bottle of water we ordered being warm :s, then after ordering, waited an eternity for our starters to arrive that we could see waiting for five minutes under the lights to be brought to our table. Main course's dry and tasteless, chips dreadful and still confusion as to who is our waiter/waitress , people entering the resturant being served before us and in the same chaotic fashion , spent half our meal moaning about our meal but we were starving so ate it , they offered the drinks to be refunded after complaining to two different waiters , would of been better going to a popular pub chain

I had my birthday here and i'm really sorry i did. 9 people attended and the bill amounted to £275.00. They put service on which came to £25.00. The service however was apaulling, my eldery mother asked for cultery and in the end she got up and got it herself. Drinks were slow, food average and expensive for small portions. I love Mexican food and was thrilled when this opened (so i wouldn't have to travel to Liverpool) ... well its total disappointment. I raised issues with the staff but non responsive.
I emailed the Head Office when i got in to raise issues and I have never received a reply.

Recently opened in New Brighton,I believe they are part of the Prezzo restaurant chain(next door).Booked in the same way as Prezzo, online but no special offers so we knew it was going to cost a bit more.
Four of us turned up on time on a freezing night, and were seated in the waiting area for about ten minutes,by which time they had turned away 12,yes twelve walk-in customers who had not booked, even though there were many empty tables.
When I asked why this was,the waiter said it was because there were not enough staff to cope!.
There was no restaurant manager co-ordinating customers and seating, waiting on staff had to do this in addition to serving at tables.
Nevertheless, all staff were very pleasant and keen to please and were very good at their jobs..there were just not enough of them.
We ordered four Sol beers, but were told that they had sold out the night before and had not been restocked..this was also true of one of the desserts, teething problems for a new venue but serious management issues;they must have turned away about £400 worth of business..a big failure.
The menu is very good and varied, and our starters and mains were delivered in a reasonable time and were delicious;we were regularly asked if we required anything and the sevice was great.
Apart from previously mentioned above the desserts were fine and we had a jug of Margarita whch finished the meal off nicely.
As mentioned, the bill was a bit pricey at £136.00 for four, with no discounts or offers, and we were very surprised to see most of the staff seated and eating meals when we left at 9.30pm..they obviously made sure that customers were not going to prevent this little perk!..remember they turned people away and obviously decided they had done enough for the evening:they need a manager badly here to keep things in order.
Despite this we did enjoy our visit and the superb food, but Prezzo next door would come in at about £30 less with a discount,so that is where they will lose out.

Went here last Saturday night and all in all it was Ok, people going here expecting a homemade Mexican experience you will not get it. The food is clearly all bought in and just reheated on the premises and sometimes that can be alright. The food was all well prepared fairly tasty and nicely presented. It is perhaps a tad pricey but I imagine the overheads in a location like the new development at New Brighton are astonomical for a business to contend with. All in all the restaurant was nice the food was good and the beer and cocktails were icy cold and very good.

Went there yesterday with a part of 5. Restaurant was only a third full, but staff were very slow to seat us, take our orders, bring drinks and serve food. The food has a processed taste about it. It's clear food comes from a freezer and is just heated up. Very expensive at over £10 most most main dishes so very poor value. Good location though. Would not go there again.
