My friends and I meet here regularly for a catch up and normally just have a cup of tea but decided to have lunch as well recently. The menu is fairly basic, paninis sandwiches, jacket potatoes etc. The sandwiches were a bit sparse on fillings and my jacket potato was barely warm and the skin was rock hard and inedible. What accompanied all the dishes was a delicious pot of sweet pickles and a lovely side salad wrapped in cucumber. If you can make the stuff on the side of the plate this good why can't the whole dish be just as good ? We stayed for a good hour after our meal and eventually had to move the dishes off the table onto the next table as noone came back for them. This is a nice place to meet and have a cup of tea but none of us would eat here again which is a shame because it is a lovely venue with great views.
