Service was outstanding, the owners are very warm and accommodating. The house is very beautiful and our stay was just brilliant.

Other reviewers said they were daunted as the approach to the hotel is a housing estate. However don't worry the hotel is well passed it and approached by a long winding drive which places the hotel firmly in the countryside with good open views. In January 2011 it was 5 months old and built to a high standard. Everything is new. if it is kept in this way by the helpful owners it will continue to offer value for money.
I am not quite sure how to categorise the hotel, luxury, business- yes but for tourism it seems a liitle off the beaten track. However with a car one could work something out. Certainly if this part of Wiltshire attracts you then it is worth staying there.

A great place to stay, beautiful surroundings, and a very warm welcome from Paul and Lorraine. Room was spotless and very comfortable. Breakfast freshly cooked and very good indeed. I will use again when I am back that way.

Well what a place, I have never stayed in a B&B of this high standard. I did not have the pleasure of meeting Lorraine however Paul was extremely welcoming and friendly. I stayed in the twin bedded room which was very warm, clean and cosy and furnished to an extremely high standard. This is one place I will definately be recommending and visiting again and again and again.

We stayed in the double jaccuzi room which was much more spacious than it appeared in the photographs. The owners were warm, friendly and polite and own two lovely dogs (which stay well out of the way if you aren't a fan of dogs). The breakfast was well cooked and enough to leave me not needing lunch that day.

Only downside is the location down a lane which is down a lane which is down a lane (literally). The owners have however put up reflective signs and offer their mobile phone number to you so you can always call if you have difficulty.

All in all I'd have to say this is probably the best BnB I've ever stayed at, while being very inexpensive.

So pleased Bath couldn't accommodate is for an overnight stay at the weekend-instead we found this gem of a B&B just outside in Melksham.
Paul & Lorraine where extremely welcoming and did their upmost to ensure our stay was as enjoyable as possible. Finding us somewhere to eat locally at short notice, offering transport to the restaurant they booked for us.
The bedrooms and bathrooms have been furnished to 5* standard and were extremely comfortable. Every bit as good as they look in the pictures on the website.
Will definately return and happy to recommend!
