We went to celebrate my husband's birthday. Service was friendly and efficient. The waitress happily agreed to ask the kitchen to create a vegeterian dish for my daughter even though it was not on the menu. Food was lovely - nice juicy prawns in garlic for me, frodied mushromms for my husband and one daughter and selection of bruscheta for my other duaghter. Then mains - 2 pizzas, gnocci and vegeterian pasta made to order. Lovely puddings as well. The bill for 4 of us including a bottle of wine came to £99 + service.

Stuck on somewhere to eat out on a Sunday evening in Marlborough. Then try Pino's! Do not be put off from the frontage which is nothing special. Venture through the doors and you will be greeted with a warm welcomiong smile and taken through to a cosy little restaurant, where you will get good service and tasty food. The menu is traditional Italian with plenty of choice and definitely beats anything else available up the High Street. And it is very reasonable. Two mains, two desserts, coffees and a bottle of wine (mid price range) came to £65 for two.

We were travelling through Marlborough at 8pm and thought it was time to eat and take a break. We had looked at other places in Marlborough as we drove through and they were very quiet: well it was a Monday night. So we thought what about that Italian restaurant we went to 20 years ago? Is it still there? Yes it is and with new owner.
Pinos was busy and we were given a warm welcome and a fine table. Unfortunately the occupants of another table were of the type that made a lot of noise with women who laugh like hyenas but thankfully they left a little later.
The service was fantastic, the house wine (red) perfect and the fish so fresh that I asked where bought it from, hoping it would be a local fishmonger.. Coupled with tasty brouchetta and their own pasta we were more than satisfied. Like all good Italians there was no pressure on us to leave: In fact there were locals still comming in at past 9 o'clock.
We stayed longer than planned with a final glass of wine and were shown details of Calabria which is the present owner's homeland. We will revisit this year.

Didn't mind my kids asking for carbonara (in kid sized portions), duly produced and very well, although off the menu. Great food and service.

My partner was very pleased with the Capesante (Fresh king scallops), although, for the price I would have expected them to be whole, not halved. Bruschetta was actually hard toasted slices plain baguette. The toppings were flavoursome, but the baguette had not oil or garlic dressed on it before the topping were added. Garlic chilli broccoli was unfortunately frozen, over cooked and lacked any flavour. Atmosphere was relaxing, comfortable and private. Staff were friendly and not constantly interrupting us.
