We recently had a meal in this restaurant whilst spending the weekend in the hotel for my birthday. This was the second visit to the restaurant and this time we opted for the 3 course menu rather than the tasting menu. I had scallops as a starter and pollock for the main and 'lemon' for dessert.
The whole meal and service was excellent, as you would expect for a restaurant of this standard. We were pleased that there was a pianist playing which added to the ambience. Last time we felt it was too quiet without any music.
We also had two breakfasts in the restaurant, both of which were excellent.
